For the first of our organised soirees, don’t miss AVO Session Basel’s ‘Anchors Aweigh’ Opening Drinks when guests are welcomed aboard as we prepare for departure. It takes place on the lower deck at 13:00 on Friday 12 March, and is a perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues before the first conference session kicks off the weekend.

MusicXport.nl’s annual meet and greet returns this year as The Flying Dutchmen, although rather than being haunted by a ghost ship, the Dutch Embassy will be welcoming delegates with some drinks and nibbles, while our friends at musicXport.nl present a few of the Netherland's hottest acts, and doubtless talk up the Eurosonic/Noorderslag weekend. 

Long-time supporters Berryhurst are laying on free “launches” from their fleet of luxury coaches to take you to the event, but with places limited, make sure to email ruud.berends@bumacultuur.nl for your invitation.  

A new event for this year is the Table Football ‘Coupe du Monde’.  An international tournament set to rival the World Cup later this summer, staged in the AEG Bermuda Triangle delegates’ bar at the hotel.

Players can sign up on the day, and we’ll be running a knockout tournament from 20:30, until the prestigious ‘Coup de Monde’ Cup is awarded later that night. The tournament will be refereed by IQ’s Terry ‘Offside’ McNally, who’s sure to be easily identifiable in the bar. 

After a brief respite last year, the World Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tourney is back, and gives all passengers a chance to win some fabulous bar tab prizes. It all takes place as part of the Sutasi Casino, which also features roulette, blackjack and very special performances by Biuret, Pan Asian winner of the Sutasi 2009 talent search competition.

The rock act, who once supported Oasis, will be treating delegates to three sets during the course of the evening, including a full on electric set after the poker prizes are awarded. Having beaten off competition from thousands of acts across North East, South East and South Asia, it’s a performance not to miss.  

The poker tourney costs £20 to enter, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s always a popular event, so be sure to email marketing@ilmc.com if you would like to participate. 

Access All Areas will allow all our delegates free access to some of the best gigs and cabaret turns taking place around London during the conference weekend. Check at the Help Desk for listings and to find out the process for attending shows, as the admission process varies depending on the act.
