About The Delegates
The signs are good – we’ve been saying this for at least the last couple of years, maybe longer, but we don’t just say it for effect, it’s based on hard facts. Participation in the ILMC is not simply a matter of being able to pay the registration fee – you must be an operating professional, recommended by previously established ILMC members. In 2007, we welcomed over 160 newcomers – a further indication of the growth and health of the industry.

The 19th edition of the conference in 2007 saw the largest attendance to date, as we welcomed 900 delegates to the Royal Garden Hotel in London. In the previous year, 850 delegates attended - up from 720 the year before.

Delegates represent over 55 countries with practitioners from all professional aspects of our industry in attendance, many of these, as ever, are executives and heads of companies who bring a particular vitality to both social and business proceedings.

Panels are extremely well attended, covering new areas of discussion and focusing on a broader appeal. Overall, there is an increased awareness that, as the industry grows, we face more and more issues and problems in common and that the best way to deal with them is to work together – the basic principle of the ILMC. Our membership consists of over 3500 international, live music industry professionals. It is exclusive, tightly focused, individually accredited, and includes:

  • The majority of key promoters, agents, managers, venue owners, and other categories of leading live music industry players in the UK and mainland Europe.
  • An ‘A’ list of their counterparts in all other major worldwide territories from the USA to Australasia.
  • UK, European and International trade press.
  • Top executives from media and marketing companies.

There is also a ‘Platinum Club’ of around 30 ILMC members who have attended every conference since the ILMC’s inception in 1988.

Companies who regularly attend include: Aiken Promotions (Ireland), Metropolis Music (UK), Triple A Entertainments (UK), Barley Arts Promotion SRL (Italy), William Morris (UK), Mirage Promotions (UAE), Scorpio Konzertproduktion GmbH (Germany), Mojo Concerts BV (Netherlands), Ernst & Young (Netherlands), SMG Europe (UK), Chugg Entertainment (Australia), Ticketmaster (several territories), Garance Productions (France), Wiesen Festival & Concerts VA (Austria), Pollstar Magazine (USA), Acer Arena (Australia), Billboard Magazine (USA), Mean Fiddler Organisation (UK), Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion GmbH (Germany), Frontier Touring (Australia) Columbia Records - Sony Music (USA), The Show Company Pte Ltd (Singapore), EMA Telstar (Sweden), McKenzie Group (UK), HIP Productions (Turkey), Wembley (London) (UK), Live Nation (several territories).

At the ILMC, you will find key individuals from all over the globe that control the concert industry. Delegates attend ILMC both for the debates on major issues and, equally importantly, for the unique networking and social opportunities it provides. Many deals are done and new relationships forged over the weekend.
