US Federal Judge Philip Gutierrez had made an order prohibiting Britney Spear's 'manager' Sam Lufti from being within 250 yards of the troubled singer and her home or making contact with her in any way.
The
order came after Spear's mother Lynee claimed Lufti had effectively
held Spears hostage in her own home, drugged her, cut phone lines,
removed cellphone chargers and had taken control of her $50 million
fortune. Lufti insists he is close friends with Spears and that he is
her manager. Her parents accuse of acting in his own best interests
which often are not Britney's best interests. Spear's interests were
placed in her parents hands after she was rushed to UCLA Medical Centre
on 31st January after a string of increasingly bizarre incidents which
saw the singer shaving off her hair in public and refusing to return
her children to partner kevin Federline who has legal custody. Spears
has now lost access to the children.
