The European Parliament is to question officials from the European Commission over the latter's second approval of the SonyBMG merger.

The Commission's first approval was successfully challenged in Court and now members of the Parliament will have the chance to invetsigate the approval further, looking in particular at whether the merger affects cultural diversity.
