GCAP to Pioneer 'Listen and Buy' Radio
UK radio group GCap have announced that they are pulling out of the digital radio market and will now concentrate on their analogue stations which include Capital Radio in London and Classic FM as well as looking at new business models which will stream its stations live to Apple's new music players - and then GCap would get a cut from Apple selling the music to 'listeners'. Gcap recently rejected a £300million bid from rival radio group Global.
