* BT Vision appoints Michael Barry as director of programming. He takes over in April after being poached from his role as MD of MTV UK & Ireland.

* Steve Tan - EVP and COO for MTV Networks Asia-Pacific - and Andrew Hoppe - VP of content, creative and digital at Viacom Brand Solutions - have both left their positions.

* UltraStar Entertainment - the fan club management and marketing service - names Steve Machin as its new VP of International Business Development. He was previously head of European music services at Ticketmaster.
