There is frenzied press speculation that Jay-Z is about to join Live Nation in a multi-rights deal There is frenzied press speculation that Jay-Z is about to join Live Nation in a multi-rights deal - one of these 360 degree thingies - worth $150million (£75million) which would include live, merchandise and sound recordings under a new Live Nation brand - Roc Nation. The rapper and music mogul would join Madonna and U2 who are already with Live Nation. The ever expanding, ever diversifying conglom has just appointed Bill Hein, formerly VP and GM of EMI Music's Caroline Distribution, to become GM of the recordings bit of the Live Nation Artists division.
