Live Nation are buying a 67% stake in DF Concerts, the promoters of the T In The Park and Hydro Connect festivals. The purchase, according to the Daily Record, is through Live Nation's joint venture with Irish based Gaiety Investments, the partnership through which its aforementioned stake in Festival Republic was achieved. Gaiety is already an investor in DF which is headed up by Geoff Ellis who told reporters: "We are pleased to welcome Live Nation into DF Concerts. We look forward to continuing to work with an array of diverse artists and creating first class events such as T in the Park and Hydro Connect."

Live Nation now has direct and indirect interests in the Download, Wireless, Reading, Leeds, Latitude, Rise, Glastonbury, Creamfields, Connect and T-in-the-Park festivals in the UK.
