Tina Turner, Britney Spears and Beyonce topped the sales chart at the London O2 this year, which itself was the top selling venue in the world, shifting an outstanding 1.8 million tickets in 2009.

The O2's fourth and fifth spots went to AC/DC and Paul McCartney. Tina Turner's five nights grossed £6million, Britney grabbed £5.8million between the 3rd and 14th June and Beyonce £4.6million over seven dates in May, June and November.

AC/DC's two nights in April grossed £2 million and Sir Paul drew in £1.35 million at the end of December. The Manchester Evening news Arena was the second highest selling venue (1.35 million tickets sold) followed by the SportsPaleis in Amsterdam (1.09 million) and Madison Square Garden in New York(0.98 million).
