A new deal with YouTube, ringtones and the booming live music scene are pushing PRS (Performing Right Society) revenues to record highs.

Last year the UK music publisher and composer's collection society had then record revenues of £370 million, but revenues for the first quarter of £2008 are £110 million, a third higher than the same period in 2007. The PRS-MCPS now predicts year end figures will be 6%-7% above 2007.
