Two fraudulent London ticket agencies run by a disqualified director have been wound up by the High Court, after an investigation by the Companies Investigation Branch of the Insolvency Service.

The Online Ticket Exchange Ltd and Ticketmate Ltd, both run from premises on Borough High Street failed to deliver tickets to around half its online customers in the year and a half leading up to September 2009. The operations were run by Terry Shepherd whose failed companies ran up debts of almost £7.4million, and are being  investigated by the Serious Fraud Office.
