U2 sign 12 year deal with live nation
Billboard reports that U2 have signed a 12-year worldwide deal that includes the band's touring as well as merchandising, digital and branding rights. Billboard reports that U2 have signed a 12-year worldwide deal that includes the band's touring as well as merchandising, digital and branding rights. The deal does not appear to include sound recordings (or music publishing). The deal comes just five months after Live Nation announced a comprehensive partnership with Madonna which did include her coveted recording rights.
