Warner Music has reportedly offered $25million to buy the assets of Death Row Records which is up for sale as part of Death Row founder Suge Knight's bankruptcy.
Warner Music has reportedly offered $25million to buy the assets of Death Row Records which is up for sale as part of Death Row founder Suge Knight's bankruptcy.
The Death Row catalogue features some early work from Dr Dre, Tupac and Snoop Dogg although Dre
has been disputing the actual ownership of some of that catalogue.
Rival bidders have until 11 Apr to make a bid, with the actual auction
due to take place on 24 April.
Warners had previously had a share of Death Row but had sold under corporate pressure against gangsta rap when part of the AOL Time Warner conglomorate.
