The White Stripes have been forced to cancel their upcoming US and UK tours claiming that Meg White is suffering from "acute anxiety".

The Stripes releasing an apologetic statement to fans, saying, "We hate to let people down and are very sorry".

Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake has been advised to postpone some of his US tour dates too, having developed problems with his voice after "months of rigorous touring". The dates wil be re-scheduled.
